Contemplorary Art
ContempLorary Art is its own term in which the words contemporary (contemporary) and contemplation merge. With this, WOLk wants to focus on the added value of awareness or 'conscious practice' within an art installation.CLOUD Satl Invite an artist from Charlois twice a year to give substance to the space. "Heal All"is an artist's researchToine Klaassen in
collaboration with WOLk. In this research he searches for materials and objects that reflect the perception of time and environment. By changing and rearranging them, he gives them new meaning. This creates new rituals and space for reflection. “Heal All” will take place in and around WOLk from end of March 2024. As a result of the research, the artist is developing an art installation that fills the WOLk space, together with four interactive performances that will take place both indoors and outdoors. An open, additional and accessible peripheral program is created with people from the neighborhood and the community of program makers that fits in with the research theme.
On view from January 20 to mid-July 2023 during the continuous program offering and the programming that ties in with the art installation.
